You can post up to 20 images in a single submission. I wasn't sure if I wanted text-based navigation (the next/previous buttons) or the arrows, so I just added both.

anon posting , mostly. Sure you'll see a lot of bait and trolls, especially these days. But you'll also see people being truly authentic, which I find refreshing, since no one feels the need to self-censor in order to appeal to the crowd. Someone disagreeing with the consensus of the rest of the users in a thread has as much visibility as anyone else, unlike other social media platforms where you only see opinions that the majority agree with (which leads to fragmented echo chambers).
The main downside of this is that 4chan sucks at filtering low quality content. If you're scrolling through reddit for example and a post from /r/jokes pops up on your feed, it probably has a very high upvote to downvote ratio. Therefore you're statistically speaking likely to find it funny as well. Whereas on 4chan you're far more likely to see low-quality content or bait threads that generate a lot of replies.
so imo 4chan is better for discussion and having your views challenged, whereas other social media is better for "content".

Mainchan is whatever you want it to be. I don't think it's my place to decide what kind of content should be on here. If you want to make a subchan(s) that's more geared towards serious discussion, with specific rules that you want to enforce in order to mould that kind of environment, more power to you.

I had the same problem until I cleared my browser cache. Browsing in private mode also fixes the problem. So for SOME reason cloudflare is getting an error based off of... maybe cookies? session data? hard to say.
I don't think there's an all-encompassing ideology that could really define my beliefs. I guess from a social POV I'm classically liberal, and economically I'm Georgist and capitalist. I feel like most people who at least try to think critically about their political beliefs will end up all over the spectrum. It just doesn't make sense that 99% of your hundreds of political stances all end up auth-left or whatever. It doesn't add up statistically. If I can predict your stance on gun control based on your stance on healthcare spending, or your stance on abortion based on your stance on immigration, then I feel I'm not really dealing with your personal individual beliefs but rather the collective framework adopted by the tribe you decided to join.
I store all your passwords as plain text, and I pay a nigerian man that speaks english fairly well to keep a duplicate of all the records in case of a database wipe.

This issue will be gone once the website gets bigger. I'm well aware of it. Basically the problem is that this is 2 feeds in one, a feed of "hotness" and "relative hotness". You're getting the hottest submissions (basically just total votes / time) and the hottest submission RELATIVE to that subchan's subcount. This 2nd feed is so that even if you subscribe to a really small subchan, you'll still see posts from there sometimes. If the website gets bigger, you'll no longer see duplicates.
