You would have to learn and only use French on your own (Képi Blanc). That and the only reason to do it is to become a citizen, and France is one of the last countries I would be trying to get in to.
Personally I am not deemed fit to serve for my country. Not even good enough to die for the land that boterhed to house me. There is still a hundread other things I could set my time to. Yet is a active choice to live life as a loser, or it least that is what I tell myself to justify why I even bother to keep going despite feeling I have next to nothing to contribute in the near future.
Had a family friend's fiance from Germany come visit, I told him about the German music I listend to. Mentioned some cringe stuff like military music, mostly under the excuse of it sounding a lot like Swedish. Yet I still recall mentioning the Rammstein was a bit too vulgar for my taste. I feel for you NecroSocial, every time I talked to somebody from Germany in person I dropped my spaghetti hard. Sans the PE teacher I had.
