Not sure if you're into country western or not, but John Prine has some great music--Angel from Montgomery is probably his best-known song; he also released a song in the 90s with Iris DeMent called In Spite of Ourselves and it's a super cute, humorous love song. Townes Van Zandt also produced some beautiful music in his day.
I listen to instrumental music the most. My current fav artist name is Edward Ikor https://www.youtube.com/@EdwardIkorMusic.
If you want to find more of the stuff I listen to check out videos for sovietwave, which uses the same sort of themes i've explored over the years.

I like the Carpenters from the 70s/80s, Karen was one of the greatest singers to ever exist.
try vocal trance!

for me, it's folk music. Fairport Convention is a really good folk-rock band from the 60's and 70's, so you might like them.
I'm a country fan. I know it's something people either love or hate π
Deke squad is a really good band form the pop renaissance of the 70/80
Well if you have spotify, I will link my playlists.
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3KnDF3YnnMEp6pcx5MWeP2?si=15bbcd7b74ef40c4 - My main playlist, I usually listen to the newer songs (last 100 around)
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3oOIPaizMzWvH7U96nwNzR?si=f8ecedac602e4133 - Smaller but still decently sized playlist, has some of my most favorite music.
Both playlist have a wide range of genres so if you find one thats ass, you can scroll down around 500 and the genre will change
If you're into 50s-70s stuff and haven't heard of them already maybe check out 3 HΓΌr-El, a Turkish band with a 60s-70s Psychedelic sound (a track, another track).
