I haven't seen either yet. My girlfriend saw the barbie movie and said she went in thinking it was going to be a kids movie but then it turned out to be way beyond her expectations. Said she cried and laughed through the whole thing.
I went in expecting something with 2007 Enchanted vibes and came out thinking some parts were funny and some parts were morally and ethically dubious. YMMV depending on how deep you care to look into the messaging.
