What is this place?
Mainchan is a content aggregation, web content rating, and discussion website. Registered members submit content to the site such as links, text posts, images, videos, and polls, which are then voted up or down by other members. Submissions are organized by subject into user-created boards called "subchannels" or "subchans" for short. Users can also earn "karma" for their posts and comments, a status that reflects their standing within the community and their contributions to Mainchan.
Features
Anonymous posting
Mainchan allows users to post anonymously. This is a subchan-specific option. Some subchannels may make anonymous posting allowed, not allowed, or even mandatory. Please note that anonymous posts are still tied to your account, and while subchan moderators may not view the user origin of a post, an anonymous post may still lead to a subchannel ban (which will not show your username in the ban log). Furthermore, anonymous posts do not affect your total karma.
Follow Feed
A feed comprised of posts from people you follow. Can you imagine a social media website not having this feature?
Save Folders
Be more organized and save your posts/comments into save folders! You can also attach notes, and even search through your saves!
No censorship
While you'll need to adhere to Mainchan's global rules and guideline, you can run your subchan however you want.
Private Message Searching
Search through your PMs. Even comes with a bit of typo tolerance!
Highlighted Comments
When viewing a submission once, and then again at a later date, new comments will be highlighted!
Community Emotes
Subchans can create emotes for users to use in their posts/comments.

Upload your own or use a built-in Tenor Gif.
No advertisements
Mainchan makes money from Content Creator Private Feeds. We have no plans to include ads.
