Karma is essentially a measure of how much your post aligns with the views of the users on this site. Karma isn't necessarily a measure of quality; I have seen many well-written posts and comments get downvoted despite being high-quality just because they said something "controversial" even if they had strong arguments to support their beliefs.
Mainchan is still relatively small, and only a handful of posts and comments are made every day. I have to admit, however, that it's kind of nice to have a small community of users that all know each other and have their own jokes and memes. It kind of reminds me of those old forums that I sometimes stumble upon that have been inactive for 20 years.

Almost never. I don't even clean the screen and get rid of all the food stains, which is why people accuse me of "fapping" and placing coom stains on my laptop.
Most essays in English class are based on books, so I wasn't allowed to use anything other than the text. I just have a very hard time finding evidence from the book to support the "thesis statement", even when none is present.
