Mainchan is still relatively small, and only a handful of posts and comments are made every day. I have to admit, however, that it's kind of nice to have a small community of users that all know each other and have their own jokes and memes. It kind of reminds me of those old forums that I sometimes stumble upon that have been inactive for 20 years.
Karma is essentially a measure of how much your post aligns with the views of the users on this site. Karma isn't necessarily a measure of quality; I have seen many well-written posts and comments get downvoted despite being high-quality just because they said something "controversial" even if they had strong arguments to support their beliefs.
Most Youtube comments are either shitty puns or jokes, references to experiences in their own life, or shitposts. Comments, however are just one of many aspects of Youtube that are declining in quality.
Are you just going to deny the obvious influence physical attractiveness has on romantic success? Personality does matter to some extent, but attractiveness matters the most. In fact, even outside of romance, the way people treat you is partially determined by how physically attractive you appear to them.
