this works similarly to r/rom, here you post rom packs and recommend the best emulators, now I could say "we do not promote hacking of any sort" but I'm not because 1. I'm one person and 2. I think that companies who want to sue romhacking sites are complete fags, c'mon, romhacking has made games that most likely the younger generation wouldn't even know to exist be aware of them, classics like "Ocarina of Time, Silent hill, any game that came out on the SNES" as a kid myself I mostly played shitty garbage like COD (newer games, the old games were masterpieces" so as I got older I wanted to experience older games, and I'm still happy I made that decision, anyway sorry for the rant, as always fuck Nintendo, and have fun with my new subchan anon

Unfortunately, old games are usually too challenging for me.

I don't really care about pirating vs non-pirating. I just care about what's most convenient.

for me too, why would I go and buy an n64 console and then have to buy the games for it, when I can just download an emulator and a rom file which is gonna take like 10 minutes

and sometimes even if you have the game, emulators open up other possibilities. For example I have a Hogs of War disc and a ps3 to run it, but I recently found out that by emulating it you can play online multiplayer, and there are even expansion mods being made as standalone ISOs
