I've been a programmer for some time and have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge with others. Over time I've discovered several good sites, but because of the moderation many of them haven't lived up to my expectations. However, I discovered https://chat-to.dev, which even with some bad things was the one I found most comfortable. That's why I'm here to share it with you and invite some people to visit the site and maybe create a chat room there to talk about funny things about programming and software development. My username there is Javajuggler, anyone?

For some reason I get this eerie vibe from that site. It feels like everyone is a bot or perhaps every account is operated by a single person.
Maybe I'm wrong, idk. The user interactions on there just feel odd.
turns out there is actually a reason for this. mainchan has had a mix of both natural growth and artificial growth. back in the day mainchan used to have 4chan which brought in a specific "demographic", but as mainchan slowed down us users were given the task of promoting mainchan to all our friends and on random sites, this means that now any normal person can hear about mainchan creating a weird mix of fandoms, communities and other weird groups. so now as everyone has a completely different way of doing things so we all kinda resort to some sort of meta way of speaking.

I think they're just beginners looking for a nice place
I've posted something on there and I got some guy asking me what programming languages should he learn to not "miss out on the dynamics of the job market". Seems like the kind of corporate speak AI would spit out.
I believe that people are confusing everything with AI's maybe they are really people looking for solutions
Maybe you are right.
