Only reason to use Windows nowadays is really just for games. I'm personally recommending my normie friends to use OSX, while I use Linux for work. Still can't believe Windows has adware in their OS.
I wonder how long will it take before they switch back to Windows.
One german town tried to switch to linux some 5+ years ago, they switched back to linux in like a month or two.
Unfortunately Linux desktop is still not in a state where someone who doesn't know anything about computers can use it.
They say they're rolling Linux out over time and training the workers how to use it before and as they switch. Gotta think that'll have better results than some of the failed attempts to switch by some other governments.
I'm definitely going either Linux with a Win11 virtual machine or just strait Linux when I'm forced to leave Windows 10 finally. I'm sick of Windows power-user hostility and privacy invasion.
