I think some of the ones serious about finding an alternate are seeping over. If more subs would have joined the protest I think we'd have seen a bigger influx though. Also could have used a bit more Mainchan shilling in all those threads asking about alt sites. I dropped a link whenever I noticed one, a bit of "Can I interrupt your Lemmy shilling to shill Mainchan?" stuff. Can confirm that the chan in the name scares redditors. And danggit I posted this anonymous. This is NecroSocial.
Edit: Cicero would it be possible to anonymize and deanonymize a comment in the edit?
The lack of interesting content on Mainchan is the main things which makes new users inactive. Without a unique site culture, Mainchan will just be another small Reddit clone.
r/AnarchyChess is considering migrating here. Take that as you will.
Let me know if they have any demands or if there's anything I can do to ease the process.

You should go back to /r/RedditAlternatives and tell them so. It's definitely the right moment to promote Mainchan. d33r should leave you alone since it's been over a month since your last post there.
Last time I posted it got removed by admins for posting an update more than once per month.

Most of them won't come, people aren't serious about leaving reddit. They want a site with ready made content. They even label any reddit alternative as a nazi site without even giving it a try.
Take a look at the comments in every thread mentioning reedit alternative and you will know that people aren't serious about leaving reddit, they will just look for anything to complain about "oh no it has chan in the name", "oh no there is no mobile app", "oh no there is no content". Just a bunch of faggots complaining about everything without trying to take action and leave their fucking mom's basement.
Eh they can judt add it as a web app, I'm botwsing this site with my phone that whay. Those guys are lazy.
