President responsibilities would include
- Boosting the community spirit.
- Establishing connections with other online groups.
- Helping new users settle in on the site.
- Being a role model for the community.
- Reminding people about the importance of worshiping Garfield.

The presidential position would be temporary, say, for one year, or perhaps just a couple months. Then we would host another election.

I could create a system where you guys vote on a different president like every 4 months or so. It wouldn't really do anything, could just be an honorary title/username color. Maybe have a page where it lists all the former presidents.

I personally think that this would be a fun thing to do and a cool addition to the Mainchan lore, but since not many users responded, I guess people don't really care.
Regarding the voting, I am concerned that someone might make many accounts to manipulate the election. The president role won't be very serious so it won't be a big deal if someone manipulates the votes, but if a single user would continuously be president, then people would lose interest in the elections.
