I've only tried ubuntu and Arch, which I've been running since almost the beginning of this year. Arch sometimes gives me issues, but nothing too complicated, so overall I feel no need to switch.
Mint too
Void, Endeavour and Mint are my favorites, in that order.
It's pretty simple, but you will have to setup and configure a few things.
The xfce live image its working out of the box but it's pretty basic
so I recommend to install the base and configure everything yourself with what ever DE and/or WM you like.
After that you pretty much update every now and then and you never have to think about it, the only problem is
because it's a small distro with few maintainers sometimes updates can come slow to some not very popular packages.
Definitely not recommended for beginners or for people who are afraid to configure their own system.
