Please add the text formatting toolbar to the comment box that appears when editing posts and comments. - done
Also please add the buttons to include animated gifs and images to the toolbar for top-level posts.
Lastly we could do with a selection of default smilies because the expected behavior when someone clicks that "emote list" button is that they'll have access to all the standard smilies like 😁😂🤣😎 etc. The custom emotes added per subchan should be the first on the list but default smilies/emotes would be a very good baseline for all subs to have access to.

Ok this is done:

If I broke anything let me know.
Awesomeness. Thanks!

What do you mean by this?

This already comes out of the box when typing on phones. I do agree that there needs to be a baseline though. Maybe I should make some site-wide emotes.
Also nice trips
The two buttons in the attached image are missing when making a new post (and now when editing a post or comment).
That would be great, I'm sure there are pre-made packs of animated emotes you could use.
Thanks, what can I say? I'm trippy.

Ah right. Yeah I don't want to add that functionality for posts because that doesn't make sense. We already have image-type posts. As for comments? Idk about editing pictures. Seems like such a niche problem, since the image needs to be validated and what happens if your new image doesn't make it through validation and yaddy yadda.
I think the animated gif button at least makes sense since those are from a service and don't need to go through validation.
As for images the main difference I see is that with image posts the images show up at the bottom of any text that's there. With the image button the images show up at the top which could be useful. If you feel that validation point rules it out though I get that. The animated gif button though I don't see a reason to leave that out.
