Post to a Vimeo or Youtube video, the video embeds, post an Odysee video, the video doesn't embed.

Would be nice if Odysee vids embedded as well.

Here's the Odysee embed code:

<iframe width="100%" height="365px" src="https://odysee-url-here" frameBorder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowFullScreen></iframe>

Standard iframe embed same as other video streaming sites so should slot right into how video links are handled here already.

Optional metadata formatting viewable here if needed.

Also, any chance we can open these embedded videos with the plus/minus toggle the same way it's done for images?

I use this package for embeding: https://github.com/KaneCohen/oembed

I would maybe edit this package myself but it would be pretty low on the priority list.

Submitted an issue to the repo. If the dev submits code to fix it will you implement?

Any movement on this? Told that dev I'd update him on if it worked.

Pretty low on the priority list but I'll try to keep it in mind. Applying for VC funding and working on the mobile app at the moment.

Got a reply. He recommends updating the config file: https://github.com/KaneCohen/oembed/issues/9#issuecomment-1633909426
