Edit: Request defeated by the logic of the mighty Cicero!
Right now if you delete a comment it leaves the text [DELETED] behind. Also the comment count of the post you deleted your comment from will not decrease. This feature request is to change this to not leave any text behind (either no [DELETED] marker or have the marker disappear after a set time) and to have the comment counter decrease by 1 for each comment deleted. You can see an example of what I'm talking about here: https://mainchan.com/s/featurerequest/2949/Easy-One-Paragraph-Spacing I've made and deleted two comments, [DELETED] shows twice and the comment count is still two (as of writing this).

Want to leave a comment?
Doesn't really make sense. I need it to be shown that someone replying to a comment is actually replying to something. If the parent comment is DELETED then the viewer has context clues that the child reply is a response to the comment, not the submission.
Could remove DELETED if the comment has no children
then what about things like saving comments? I'd rather the user is shown "DELETED" than think the website is broken and not properly saving comments.
Ah k. I can't really code lawyer a way around that one. Good on ya.
