Wife and I are visiting family in Florida. We decided to rent a car.
Today someone rammed the back bumper of our car and drove off. Fucked up the back of the car pretty bad. Thankfully a good samaritan took a picture of the guy's license plate and gave us his information.
Cop came and took our information but said it's unlikely that we can pin it on the other driver's insurance since we didn't get a look at him, so he could just claim it was someone else driving the car. Meaning we'll probably still have to pay the $500 deductible with our insurance.
Cop said he'll try to get footage from businesses in the area but it's unlikely to go anywhere. Shit sucks. How was your day?
