Because I saw the idea on /adv/, and I liked the idea behind it. I also just wanted a place where it was possible to say whatever I wanted without me getting banned by the admins for wrong-think that wasn't 4chan (since that place has been going downhill for a while).
Because reddit turned to shit, power mods banning people for no reason, people farming karma to sell accounts, making the site more bloated by adding features no one asked for.
4chan doesn't have any sort of useful discussion, every thread is a just a bunch of people swearing at each other.
Mainchan seems to have best of both worlds freedom, anonymous posting, community based subchannles and until now no power hungry mods, hopefully this doesn't change in the future.
Registered today, having a look around. Like many in the last couple days, I'm looking for a new Reddit, but I don't know if I want to be on the bleeding edge of a new venue. Mods of subs on reddit aren't likely to create/mod that sub here too, and I'm not into modding at all.
Curious on whether it will be as successful as 4chan or Reddit one day (won't be happening anytime soon if it will ever happen)
i think its exiting to see it grow
Yup
I thing it would be awesome to have based reddit.
Reddit is cringe.
Hopefully this website make it come true.
AnneBoonchy Why are you using it?

Not to mention threads get deleted if no longer active
