For 7,19€ per month you get to watch Youtube videos ad-free and listen to music on Youtube Music without ads. On the other hand Spotify premium costs 6,49€ and only gives you access to ad-free music listening. Youtube premium seems like a much better deal to me.

after what happened with the crunchyroll-funimation drama I think if you are not pirating, or at least subbed to a service that let's you download media locally you are retarded

I simply either buy some music album (FLAC) or pirate it if it cannot be bought.

Subscription services are often a scam.

How exactly are they a scam?

Selling software (which can run just fine in offline mode) as a subscription service makes no good sense (apart from feeding greedy corporate asses).

For some cases they're acceptable, but selling programs like Adobe Photoshop or MS Office as a subscription is a pure scam while basically bringing "you will own noting (and be 'happy')" concept closer to realisation.

Oh, that's what you mean. I though you mean stuff like Netflix.

I hate netflix for other reasons (mostly wokeness and corporatism).
