They've probably come in the form of microorganisms in comets and asteroids. There are a couple of weird diseases like the dancing plague of 1518 that could have been caused by them.

It would take 1400 light years of travel to reach the nearest habitable planet that humans could inhabit.
If a species had developed the ability to travel to visit us, we would know about it by now.
Too many (conspiracy like) theories about it. Some say that they like to go underwater where their bases are. Some say that they steal the cows. Some say that they were abducted by them.. And somehow most of aliens related stuff happens in the US too.
I'm skeptical about it, but if it ever happens, I don't think it would be in the lamebrained way movies, conspiracy theories or ''documentaries'' portray it. Probably it will be boring as shit, or way too complicated for us to understand. Who knows.
