What's with all the people who join Discord yet don't talk?

It reminds me of when you check the Steam achievements on most games, but even then there is a possibility that the user has played the game, just not whilst they were online. With a platform like Discord you're supposed to conect with people on the Internet, yet so many users seem to never write or speak about anything.

Is like most Discord users are no better than the dead subscribers on Youtube. They are far worse, since their inactive profiles just clogs up the sidebar, with real users worth asking out to game or whatever else the Discord is meant for in the first place.
