Man what a ride. I was skeptical of this anime at first because like come on, it's about magical girls, that stuff is for preschoolers but now I wish I had watched it sooner. The themes it deals with are quite dark at times but all in all it still ends on a positive note. The character development, the plot, the sound design, animation etc. it's all superb. The ending can only be described as beautiful. All in all I really like this anime. The only gripe I have with it is that it starts off rather slow and things only start to pick up around fifth episode. So if you plan on giving it a watch don't drop it immediately.

I've seen memes and clips of it, enough to pique my interest, but not too much that it's spoiled. I plan on binging it when I have the time though.
