I'm a "respectable" Mainchan user? That's news to me. All jokes aside I don't really get all the hate behind Genshin. Sure it's devs make money through microtransactions (they have to since the game is free to play) but the game itself is good. You can have fun playing it without spending a single cent on it (like me for example).

This is one of my favourite pieces of music I have found so far. The whole build up with trumpets, drums and guitar droning that builds up to a gentle violin melody accompanied by drumming is the greatest thing I have heard so far. Skip to 4:54 if you don't want to listen to the whole thing. I know that this whole thing sounds kind of pretentious but it's how I feel when I listen to it.

Till I realised something, is not that they are trying to share what they love is more so that the overblown reactions to it are great. Writting long threads of text about stuff that doesn't matter is easy, but can get time consuming. Posting a few images you like here and there is way faster and requries way less interaction.

Basically this. On my old Reddit account I would sometimes post long text posts but I stopped doing that because I barely got any interaction as opposed to those that simply posted memes. It was really demoralizing to spend an hour or two on a text post when somebody who spent a few minutes in a text editor got way more attention than me. It must be really soul crushing for those who spend weeks or months working on a project that ends up receiving no attention.

I don't know, it feels like the bigger the sites are, the worse the userbase is.

I guess that's caused by a fact that once a community reaches a certain size some sort of "unwritten" rules become the norm dictating it's discussion. Just like how on 4chan posting anything that might be considered "normie" will get you called a faggot and a tranny and posting anything remotely religious on Reddit will get you bombarded by atheists.

I just think it's amazing that a single guy was able to pull this off. of course this is not the only thing that this AI is capable of doing. It's also able to have conversations and it's also equipped with computer vision so it reacts to stuff. Quite impressive stuff I must say.
