not surprising. i have actually seen concepts in quantum physics being used in studies on economics. stuff's crazy.
Yeah the rumor mill has been buzzing for a while that secretive hedge funds like Medallion have cracked some quantum algo that has gotten them all the years of crazy market beating returns they've had. The only hire high level mathematicians and physicists instead of stock or finance experts, makes sense.
