It was never a 'phase.' I just wish I could reconnect with my friends now that I have money and can dress how I want.

Gone too soon, Anon. Gone too soon...
I was nothing but a poser in a pitiful rebellion phase yet too scared of my mom to even go fully into it. Imagine being so pathetic you can't even go full emo.
You think that's bad? My parents VEHEMENTLY hated the idea of me wearing all black or anything 'too gothic.' So much so, that they had me going to school in Hawaiian flame shirts and sweat pants no matter what the weather was. That, or they'd send me out in denim or camouflage jeans (when I wasn't wearing the JROTC uniform).
I personally wore a gray hoodie all the time, I got gray because when I asked for black much less any band hoodie I got the bitching of a lifetime for it. She also forced me to get my hair cut right when I achieved proper length bangs to do the eye hide thing.
I avoided gray because it showed sweat too easily. Still do to this day. I was a fatass.
>that one kid
kek i had tons of these shirts
funny thing is i was 10x more attractive to girls when i wore this stupid shit, why?
Emo: Goth minus the coolness.
