>then someone enters the sidewalk ahead of me and starts walking on the left
>think of Murphy's law and what might happen when they're in someone else's path

>NPC responds to person walking the wrong way/side by going the wrong way/side themselves
>but now I'm right behind the wrong way walker
>there is a body right in my path headed right toward me
>proceed forward because I have the right of way and there is nowhere else to go at this point
>if I stop they'll look at me like I'm a weirdo and I'm blocking /their/ path
>if I stay the course it's a violent kinetic impact as I smash into the side of an NPC walking into me
>they yell at me to "watch where you're going fuckface"
>like as if they think I didn't see them from half a block away
>ignore and keep walking because road rage or sidewalk rage is stupid
Do they expect I should have followed the wrong-way walkers ahead of me, made some awkward squiggle-twist motion to avoid them in my path, or what I dunno. This shit happens constantly everywhere I go, and is why I often just walk in the street to avoid other pedestrians being near me altogether.
