It's so weird that once you turn 18 time just flies by.

2010-2017 felt at least three times longer than 2018-2025.
It's crazy dude. 2018 feels like it was no more than 3 years ago at most. And I rember sitting in 2018 and thinking just how long ago 2013 felt. It was like a different era with completely different culture and now things feel stagnant.

The internet got filled with 3rd world retards during that time period
You can blame it on schizo shit like Hadron Colliders and Blue Esienhower November all you want, but there's very real material reasons as to why.
For one, you just got more shit too worry about. More responsibilities so there's just not enough time in the day to do everything. You're exhausted physically, emotionally, mentally.
Secondly you're constantly stimulated by internet slop even though none of it is as entertaining as it once was.
You're getting older so your perception of time changes because there's a larger gap. Someone whose only been alive for 14 years remembers being 8 years old a lot more than someone whose 44 is going to remember it because it's the difference between it being more than half your life vs like 18% of it.
When you take off the nostalgia glasses you realize life was always shit. Family was always shit, circumstances were always shit. However, now on top of being overworked you're bored despite all the distractions. No time for friends or games, people you know start dying or just having their own lives completely separate from yours, so time loses meaning. Days meld into each other and this can feel both like a grind but like a year passes in months. As Vladimir Lenin Chud said, there are years when nothing ever happens, and two more weeks when it's happening.
I thought I was the only one feeling this
