I'm calling bullshit on "Nationwide Surveys"

Neither I nor anyone I have ever known or asked about it has ever been involved in a nationwide survey for anything nor did they know of anyone who's ever been involved in such a survey. Yet a zillion times a year a bunch of national surveys come out saying "X percent of Americans think Y about Z". Then you look at the sample size for this survey and it's at most a few hundred to a few thousand people. In an election that's like a rounding error but for these bullshit surveys it's supposed to be a statistically accurate sample of a population of hundreds of millions of people. It's nonsense based on flawed logic.

And yeah I do realize I started this lil rant describing my own bullshit survey. Point still stands.
