the only truly useful advice they told me was to not tolerate other's bullshit, and even then I had to dial it back from their definition some because it's straight up antisocial and dickish how far they want you to go with it. that and you never act rich if you are, but that's something I actually see more from gen X'ers. boomers love flaunting wealth too much to not go back on that word of advice
