I was in an un-airconditioned warehouse the size of a standard Walgreens or CVS in 94 degree weather yesterday. So the temp was easily 10+ degrees hotter inside, with raging humidity, and we had one single dock truck garage door available to open as ventilation.

Our company just leased it so we could use it for development of our AGVs. Myself and two other engineers spent 9 hours painstakingly laying down magnetic tape for our AGV test track. We laid it down on the track and the sensors on the AGV wouldn't trig the route of the track properly.

I've never poured sweat while measuring magnetic tape on the ground or redoing the logic to the drive motors. CANBUS is still fucked. But I flew home today because I have other meetings, luckily where it's a lot cooler. So whatever, they can deal with it down there tomorrow.

I'm not bothered by the heat as much as I hate the pollen. I can deal with going outside to be spared from being dreatched at home, but is bullshit how sore my throat is no matter how much I drink or rest.

In like 3 days i'm going to take a plane to visit family in the Balkans, and all I intended to do is gorge on cheap watermelon and bread. Normies (healthy stock) will never suffer as I do.

Get her some extra honey or icecream, unless they are fitness freak, I think that would be a kind gesture.

too relatable. Summers are always the worst where i'm at, especially because of the truly awful humidity.

Is it as bad as in Spain? Heared horror stories from there.

Don't really know, but i'd imagine it's pretty close. My windows are always foggy and the temperatures regularly go into the high 90's (even the 100's on especially hot days). The climate here is comparable to that of a jungle during the summer. It gets even worse when the thunder storms come along and increases the humidity and even robs us of power. Have you ever been in a situation where the a/c in your house went off and it was so hot and humid at night that the only way you can sleep is to lay down on the hardwood floor because it was the only thing that was dry and cool? because that happened to me about two weeks ago. God i hate living in Mississippi somedays.

Note to self, don't visit MiseryIsSeeping. Guess i'll just go to the great lakes or some shit, have to share the gift that is my blood (JAB poison) with the local mosquitoes. On a more serious note, that's some ass weather, is been raining rather harsh for a week or so where i'm at, and I still got power. So uh, rip.

Go splash in the water with your pet gator or something, that should solve the problem.
