This site already has a greentext feature and has more options for formatting text. Why can't we start making our own original greentexts and share funny ones to boost activity on this site?

Greentext option seems a lil hidden. Like it's not something you can just select in the comment editor, you gotta know it requires a leading greater-than symbol. Maybe you chan vets are used to it but it's new to a Reddit refugee like myself.

Well, even reddit used that for quiting something in a comment. All 4chan users did was coopt the formatting as a form of story telling.
