As the site is so similar to reddit even with using /u for users, and gilding, how would you deal with legal stuff if they try to sue you for copying their copyrighted or trademarked items?

I don't think that the /u username format is able to be copyrighted.
They'd open themselves up from litigation from digg then.
Yeah that's there too noice.
It would be unethical not to advertise an alternative to Reddit.
More tacky than anything else.
Did you know that reddit creators made a bunch of fake accts to make it feel bigger early on?
I do, but that feels less unethical than what is essentially brigading.
What did you end up doing?
not brigading
