These people are privileged they think that America is bad and third world country, I bet they won't be able to live a day in a real third world country.

I thought the point was that usually the text goes "Sorry for poor english in this post, but English is my foreign language."

I also observed the tendency to not appreciating living in USA.

If they don't appreciate how easy it is to live in the US, maybe they can try to live in Somalia, democratic republic of Congo, Sudan, South Sudan, Egypt, Lebanon, Venezuela, Cuba, Afghanistan …etc. there are 195 countries in the world at least 185 of them are worse than the US

I agree, but my guess is that:

- In other countries, you don't have as big wealth difference as in the USA.

- Media presents rich people as bad guys.

I have never been to the States, so I don't really know.

Right but wealth inequality isn't necessarily bad. It's only really bad if people live in poverty, and by and large Americans don't (relative to the rest of the world).

Imagine you have a small town of 3000 residents. They have an average net worth of 500k. Pretty damn well off if you consider that this include young people who don't own anything. This is a very rich, well off town. And wealth inequality is here is some of the lowest in the world.

But one day Elon Musk moves into town. All of a sudden, this town has MASSIVE wealth inequality. The town had a cumulative net worth of 1.5 billion dollars before, but Elon has over 100 times that alone. Suddenly this is the most unequal town in America.

Did things get worse for its citizens? I mean no, not really. If anything it probably brought wealth into their pockets directly or indirectly when Elon inevitably starts buying goods/services from the town.

That's sort of how you can view America. It's the richest country on earth, and a lot of that wealth is pooled at the top. The living standards are very high, but there are quite a few countries (like in scandanavia) where average living standards are higher. Does that mean we should raise taxes on the rich? Yeah, probably. But it's completely asinine and frankly insensitive to the vast majority of the world that would KILL to come to America to say things like "America is a 3rd World Country in a Gucci Belt" or some other redditor-tier comment.

Couldn't agree more. People here make $100/month so if someone wants to get a laptop that costs 1k he has to save 10 month full salary, without paying for food or rent, so in reality you will need 5 years or even more to afford a laptop or smartphone imagine if you want to get a car that costs $20k.

Believe me It's much worse than the US at least in the US they have many opportunities to improve their income while in most third world countries good luck getting a liveable income or even getting a job without nepotism. Most redditors are just spoiled brats.

You can know they are brats, because they don't want to study their language, and just blame it on the education system. While people in third world countries learn 2 or 3 languages in a much worse education system because they want to improve their skills and get a livable wage.
