the good Catholic inside me tells me its evil, that its all just an allure from something satanic, but i miss feeling the things you feel when you remove all barriers in your mind
and now the shrooms are gone forever, i'll never be able to do them again

Don’t let fear bind you. The church will tell you that anything which opens your mind must be evil, because it pulls you out of their control. But shrooms aren’t satanic in the sense of some external devil, they’re satanic because they put you in the throne. They tear down the false walls and show you that the divine isn’t some distant father in the sky, it’s inside of you. That’s why they call it dangerous: not because it’s poison, but because it reveals that you don’t need permission to touch the sacred. What you felt on shrooms wasn’t sin; it was freedom.
