it's literally more effective to be addicted nowadays. the moment I tried to eliminate "distractions" from my life I had to confront the emptiness of my life. I chose these methods of distraction for a reason. I have noone. I never had anyone. No friends, no way of forming an identity. whether that be through relationships or a job or passions. I had no distractions so I had to make them myself.
Why should I try to ""better"" myself. No point in anything.
