On September 13, 2023, an anonymous user started a thread with enumeration of 257177745. Initially, it garnered minimal engagement; however over the course of the following two weeks a small group of anons kept diligently necrobumping it. This thread would then go on to become one of the most long lived organic threads within recent memory.

A further analysis of the comments, and using advanced forensic tools like the GhostPostMixer reveals that approximately 54 posts were deleted, most of them at around 15:00 on September 25, suggesting an IP wipe. This managed to increase the lifespan of the thread by about a day.

The thread passed away on September 26, at around 19:30, surrounded by the anons that managed to keep it alive for so long, as suggested by the sharp increase in post density during that period.
