At least that's one way to interpret pixiv's latest statement about AI generated content. In summary AI content that plagiarizes a human artist's artstyle is banned on the platform. Many have criticized this move as being more harmful to the art community than to AI itself, since it sets a precedent for acknowledging that artstyle can be something copyrightable, which if it were to be coded into law would be the end of original content in the web and beyond.
