I'm currently living in an RV! I bought it for $8000 on FaceBook marketplace and bought about $1000 worth fo stuff for it (starlink, skillet, etc). It has a working propane fridge, and on Wednesday I'm taking it to a safety inspector, and if it passes inspection I'm going to drive it to some KOAs (Kampground of America). Much cheaper than rent, would reccomend.

Howdy fellow nomad. I just recently got into a convo about vanlife here. You mention KOA but have you considered boondocking on BLM land? As opposed to campgrounds BLM camping is free and abundant. Unless you absolutely need the campground shore power for AC and the water refills I definitely recommend the BLM route. The dark sky sites alone make it worth the trip.
GAH! I posted anon by mistake.

Howdy, fren

There is no bathroom in my camper, and I therefor need to go to KOA

Actually, I have forced anonymous turned on in this community. But I know you're NecroSocial due to the linked thread :D

Not a fan of the old bag, bucket and bottle method then eh?
Based on the cost of KOA I actually might have to do the whole shit the woods + biodegradeable toilet paper thing. You got any advice?
Luggable Loo, biodegradable toilet bags, and for urine any wide-mouth bottle will do, I made do with 40oz beer bottles in a pinch or if you want something more permanent and durable get a large thermos. Also a small camp shovel if you'll be burying the remnants.
If you're a solo guy that's all you'll need. If you're with a lady she'll need something like this for #1. All set for less than a one night in a lot of campgrounds.
Hey man, the BLM land idea worked. I'm living in Flathead, Montana. I just take a shit in the woods when I need to. Life = Amazing-Sauce!
Thanks, man. I'm a solo goy. I'm going to use BLM land like you reccomended due to the cost of camp ground.
