Starting as a Game Dev

so, i an starting as a game dev, i really like plataform and metroidvania games so decides start with that. the gameplay will be more Metroid than Castlevania, but still will be influencied by the two games.

the art style will be something like Iji (2008), and the history will be made using a world a friend of mine is creating for the TTRP system he is working on, like a medieval gothic not too gore based on D&D.
