I hate all these normies/riajuu who have invaded many online spaces related to anime. Whenever I check my Reddit (blegh) homepage, the vast majority of the posts from r/anime are just people asking for a "diverse" anime, anime with less high-pitched voices, etc. In the past, these people might have simply been filtered out, but due to a lack of gatekeeping, these people are infiltrating the subculture and are causing anime companies to care about stupid things like ESG scores. They give the anime community digital AIDS.
