Daughter of Helm, not important enough to be given a name in the book, here is named and elevated to what seems to be the protagonist of the story. Looks to be continuing The Rings of Power modus operandi of fleshing out a Tolkien story with a bunch of modern-day flavored fan fiction. The parts Tolkien actually wrote will be good if adapted true, but the rest?
Yeah, i had similar thoughts. I also get the sense that there might be some weird romantic sub-plot between Helm's daughter and Wulf, which would be pretty stupid imo. Oliphants appearing in Rohan also seems like a weird choice, but it can be justified via rule of cool. Overall, I'm not expecting much from this, but still hoping to be pleasantly surprised.
