Look into cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). And no, you don't have to go to a psychologist to apply its principles to yourself. CBT is all about how your outlook shapes your feelings and not the other way around. It helped me out a ton. Do you plan on going to college? I'm not going to recommend you a book but instead I'd say you should start preparing for college as soon as possible. Sounds generic, I know but you don't want to end up like me - a college dropout who works a factory job he hates.
