You post these often. I've been calling them loli's but I know that's for more Hentai-ish stuff, what's the proper term for these almost chibi girly thingies?
I see your points about how /s/random could develop. Hadn't considered some of that. A couple things I thought of to help content discovery for the small subchans are:
Steal Reddit's "random" feature, click link in main navigation to go to a random SFW sub
Highlight the 5 most recently created SFW subs on the front page somehow
Ability to sort the subchan list in various ways like by: New, Old, SFW, NSFW, NSFL, user count, post count etc.
Add ability to crosspost between subs
Make sorting options for frontpage and /s/all persistent. RN the sort goes away when reloading the page.
Apologies to /u/Cicero for me just constantly trying to add work to your plate.
Niceness. There's an issue with "suggest title" for Youtube link posts that may be a similar thing. Used to return the full title, now just returns " - YouTube".
Could be I know nada about these guys I was just going on how they have Daron's name front and center now when they didn't before. Assumed that meant he was a new addition.
I would have put it down to the fact that we have subs like s/nazi, s/nigger, s/misogyny, s/mensrights and s/mgtow and the many NSFL racist threads that have been posted here since launch. All seems the kind of stuff Apple in particular would take issue with.
Oh yeah, had that album on heavy repeat when it came out. Was disappointed in their follow up albums in comparison though, still great musicianship but IMO they never recaptured the magic of Relationship of Command. Part of that was likely on purpose because they're the types to experiment with no attachment to any working formulas they develop, and partly due to line-up changes.
When this song first came out I thought we were about to have another Nirvana "Smells Like Teen Spirit" moment. Thought it was about to be the birth of a new era of popular rock music. Alas corporate media was out of the rock n roll business by then except the last gasps of nu-metal. 24 years later and rock has still not had a mainstream come-back. This song is still awesome though.
Definitely the one I would have linked to if I hadn't decided to go with a video that showed the band in it (only a few to chose from with that criteria, the finalists were the one I picked and Otaku). Their drummer kills it on Sentimental Heroine tho, you have good taste Tanuki.
Fun sidenote: It seems like they might be mocking Babymetal with this song. Babymetal's breakout track was Gimme Chocolate and Hanabie sings the one of the lines from that song as the intro to this one (on top of "We Love Sweets" obviously being a similar title to "Gimme Chocolate"). If I had to guess why Hanabie is taking the piss out of Babymetal it's probably because Hanabie is a real metal band who's members play their own instruments and write their own songs while Babymetal was manufactured and those girls are just Idol singers who don't play their backing music. I mean I could be wrong and maybe the bands are buddies or whatever and it's just playful ribbing (I mean Hanabie did like a comment on the video pointing out the similar titles) I dunno, it could be shots fired, could be having a laugh. Anyway thought that was some interesting possible something going on there.
Your options kinda drop off a cliff once you move beyond Mac, Win, and Linux. The next best option after those is maybe Haiku, it's the open source continuation of BeOS (a Windows competitor in the 90s). But personally I wouldn't recommend it as a daily driver. I'd say just go with the user friendliest version of Linux out there for the least amount of headaches (probably Mint).
I'm interested what keyboard that is. It looks like a Casio workstation but has a lot more bells and whistles than I've seen on any of those.
EDIT: loooooool nevermind, definitely not a Casio, that's a $5000 Yamaha Genos. Too rich for my blood.

You're into Irish trad stuff eh? Got any good diddley-eye recommendations?

Yea why not just reboot them?

Created by redditor Jwallyman51 who describes his process as:
Initial images made with Midjourney
The speaking footage is made with Hedra by plugging in midjourney images + audio of dialogue
Luma is used to animate b-roll shots
Runway Gen-3 was used for some b-roll shots
Eleven Labs is used to generate the voices and SFX
Udio is used to generate the music
Premiere is used for editing by hooman and for making the opening title card

Funny how they had SOAD vibes even before teaming up with Daron Malakian.
Might need to go offsite and try getting some folks from the Reddit Alternatives sub.

From the replies maybe Mainchan leans Android? I'm an Android user a well. Had any takers yet?

It's that damn retard strength
Anonymous234, the chosen one
Coolness. Gotta narrow it down some tho AC/DC went through like a million drummers.

Also a heavier song of theirs: Hanabie - We Love Sweets

First time hearing this sound outside of Japan. Nice

Same here. It's why I'm going Linux when MS starts trying to force Win10 users to upgrade.
