There has been something like 4 betas for the game over 4 years. I feel like they are definitely improving with each beta but there is still alot of mobile issues problems. The game is much different to pvz2 which is probably a good thing because of pvz2's lootboxs and 1100 plants. I'd say the dev's are trying to make the game more like the og pvz but with more content. In pvz2 you can not chose your plants (very bad) but i feel like that's a good thing because it allows the dev's to make some really fun combos like one sunflower and four squash. also there is a huge story with about 400 levels. Most of the story isnt about plants fighting zombies, its usually filler about the kids from the comic to wrestling or something. I'd say is a fun game but it definitely has problems.
