All countries have debt but most countries have a good debt to gdp ratio
So Switzerland has 285% and Finland has 218% debt to GDP, two examples of countries people claim are better than the US, while the US has only 121%. By your metrics, those countries are worse than the US and Argentina has only 72%, so it must be better than the US.
