Typo in the band name, supposed to be "Moi Dix Mois". My bad, the "suggest title" thingy on Mainchan doesn't work for Youtube like it used to so I have to write stuff out.
Haha. That girl thinks purely with her lizard brain, every word he said longer than four letters made her vag more dry. The autist does have a Joe Rogan ancient aliens episode for a personality though so their flaws couldn't be more opposed.
Just finished the article. It appears to be written by a well educated and intelligent man who somehow has the reasoning skills of a simpleton. His entire argument boils down to, "humans can't be moral without God threatening to burn us should we not be". He diminishes the religious morality he's attempting to lionize by framing it entirely as the logical fallacy of argument from authority. This was written in 1998 so how poorly he defends his notions can be forgiven somewhat given the fact that the atheist view on these things wasn't well known until people like Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris and Christopher Hitchens popularized them in the early 2000s.
The short, pithy rant from Richard Dawkins here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4aCRHjH6d4Q is more of a, "dunk on the theists," sort of thing than I prefer but it too drives home a counter point to Philip Yancey's faith-biased views. In a similar vein here's Hitchens answering the same question (a bit angrily though since by this time he's answered this line of questioning many times in various ways): https://youtu.be/GQcGXBo8HP8
I haven't seen much mention of rap around here but Ka was a true artist. Really sad seeing him go, this is up there with big loses like MF Doom and Sean Price passing. A couple of my favorite tracks from him:
Price, whether they specialize in only a certain type of appliance or general handiwork (generalists can end up being your go to for all sorts of work and tend to be cheaper though may not be certified or only certified in one thing). Ones that give estimates and guarantees are nice too.
I never saw a reason to make an account there so I was surprised so many millions had. Regardless I hope the hacker(s) are caught and sandpaperbuttrapingly punished, the Archive is sacred and should be neutral ground.
Good stuff mate. I've updated the OP to reflect your findings. A system that has variable results like this based on the user's set-up should be standardized so people can get images to show in the correct order the first time and every time regardless of their client. Thanks for helping me sus out what was actually going on. If Mainchan Gold was still a thing I'd give you some.
I like the notion. If it's technically feasible and won't run afoul of Reddit's legal hit squad I back the idea. Just has to be something Cicero wants to implement. Who knows. Make it a post on /s/FeatureRequest
So you're suggesting a system like Odysee.com has where they can one-click clone a person's Youtube channel for them? I think that'd still need API access for Reddit though.
Something tells me that would next super difficult if not impossible. It was more possible when the Reddit api was free and easy to use. Now you'd need to crawl a sub to index it or pay an enormous fee for API access. Then how do you import every post and comment here when we don't have the same users as Reddit? Make every post show up as written by a randomly generated fake user? Clone the accounts of all the Redditors who's posts you imported then message them on Reddit to say "come claim your cloned account?" Then's there the matter of all the legal trouble that whole thing would attract when Reddit comes suing the pants off Cicero for taking their data without paying.
Still kicking. Been pretty active around here lately actually. The low activity just really started on Sunday. So just the last two days. Only had a drought of posts once before. It'll pick up again.

Argh! The wholesomeness it burns my heathen ears!
If entertaining why not?

This secular reasoning was well articulated by Sam Harris in 2006: https://www.samharris.org/blog/the-myth-of-secular-moral-chaos
He'd then go on to give a TED talk on science based morality: https://youtu.be/Hj9oB4zpHww

The comments were gold
Nice to see some deserved punishment of actual bad faith race baiting.
Nice

OK I just tested it 3 times, last test still up here: https://mainchan.com/s/test/6828/Image-ordering-test-3
And I've figured out- EDIT: jack shit because ymous just proved my interpretation of the data wrong.
Ah, thanks I still didn't know what that was, had to goog it. Now I know about the glory of the Noble 14 and the hero APACHE N4SIR.
Isn't Glance just a Motorola Droid thing?
Settings > Display > Lock Screen > Glance for Moto
Huh, does kinda look like him, but that has to be some pr0n star with that pose. The tin foil hat is what confuses me.

Thanks mate. I had a lot of time knowing it was coming though so that helped.
I think I replied to that post suggesting they check Mainchan out.
